Nihon Koso of Japan has developed and launched a new HART positioner based on technology from Fint. This is an extraordinary example of project execution. The co-operation has been stepwise, first Fint provided a Starterkit, then HART technology, followed by development of the HART application under contract - while Koso developed their application. Next   Fint developed and registered the DD for the device. Finally Fint took care of the HART device registration on behalf of Koso. Now this sophisticated, versatile and flexible HART positioner is available in the market. Fint thanks Koso for the opportunity to work in this exciting and challenging project. During the two-year duration of the project Fint and Koso personnel has neither met physically nor spoke on the phone. All communication has been through e-mail. Despite the remote dialog the project has been a great success.
